Reviews
A wonderful facility with plenty of trees, grass and well-maintained sports fields. Dunbar Parkway is the host site for the World Archery Chicago world ranking event and couldn’t have been any better of a venue.
Nice spacious park, with good tennis courts
Dunbar Park is a gem in South Loop / Bronzeville. Besides the park and the bbq friendly spaces, it has multiple grass soccer fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, and a huge turf field! It is the main hub for Chicago KICS, a good soccer travel team if you live in the area. There are many of other mini leagues for baseball and other sports, so If you are around, don’t hesitate in checking it out! The night view with the skyline at the back, or the pinky sunsets from here while doing sports is a MUST!!
Very nice climbing features for the children. Also, has a track and tennis count near by.
The Special Olympics was great,
Went to the park for the first time.
When I moved here I was excited about living across from a park. This park has signs with rules and know one follows or enforces them. People throw loud parties late into the night. In the morning the park is full of trash. It is a shame that this park is not respected.
Nice turf fields and beautiful grass fields. Basketball courts could be better.
Great open park space with well groomed grass for laying in the sun and letting the dog roam freely.
